The Ritchey WCS Toyon replaced my older Ritchey WCS 4-Axis stem, and it’s a much better stem.The Toyon is stiffer, has a better 220-degree clamp design, and a sleek, understated appearance.The older stem was light at 120 grams in a 120mm size, but allowed a lot of bar flex. The Toyon is heavier at a still reasonable 148 grams, but it really stiffens-up the front end. The 220-degree clamp design is much more secure, and the angled faceplate bolts are spread much wider apart. The squared stem body also adds to the stiffness.The Toyon also has an understated black matte finish, black bolts, flush stem cap and a small black rubber stem bolt cover.
