Adds a shelf to my server rack! Includes rack bolts I couldn't use due to the older rail system my rack used. Haven't tested the weight capacity, but I generally don't try to put too much unmounted weight on the rack.

The item reviewed here is a 2U 18" deep vented shelf for a 19" wide server rack by RIVECO.As usual, RIVECO delivers a server accessory that is very well constructed from heavy materials. This shelf is very strong and fits their 19" rack systems perfectly. I have 2 19" side cart server racks from RIVECO and all of the components I have from them are of great quality. The only negative I ever run into is their QC on packaging. Many times screws are rolling around loose in the box or missing. However, they have always addressed such issues quickly. I can still highly recommend their products.

When it comes to organizing my rack-mounted equipment, this 2U rack shelf has proven to be a practical solution. Initially, I used servers and UPS units as makeshift shelves, but replacing them became a hassle. This sturdy black steel shelf solved that problem by securely mounting into my rack with square mounting nuts, offering a smooth powder-coated surface that blends seamlessly with other components. It's dimensionally accurate and incredibly sturdy, maintaining stability even when fully loaded with equipment. The strategically placed vent holes also make it convenient for securing items with zip ties. While RIVECO's products are consistently well-constructed and fit perfectly into their 19-inch rack systems, occasional packaging quality control issues with loose or missing screws have been noted. Despite this, their responsive customer service has promptly resolved any concerns, reaffirming my confidence in recommending their reliable server accessories.

I have some equipment I was looking to mount in my server rack and this tray served that purpose perfectly! It is dimensionally accurate and fit perfectly in my rack. All of the holes lines up and it was easy to install. It is very sturdy! It does not flex even when loaded with equipment. All of the vent holes were convenient to zip tie things down as well.

When working with racked servers and equipment, you might be tempted to use the servers and UPS units as shelving for other, smaller devices, since they are already there and quite flat. This works quite fine until you have to replace the equipment that you have been using as a shelf! Ouch. Let the juggling begin! Using rack shelves is a much easier option, and this low-cost 2U shelf mounts easily (and comes with square mounting nuts) into the rack to provide a space-saving shelf for other equipment. The black steel shelf has smooth edges and a powder-coat surface, matching the other components easily.

Strong, sturdy, and well-made. Fits nicely, powder coated, and no sharp edges. Even the included screws are actually pretty good. Vent holes on the bottom are a nice touch. No issues at all, and it'll hold heavy stuff easily.

Not much to say. Attaches easily and is really sturdy for holding non rack mountable items. Thumbs up.
