The pipe threads on the valve body are incorrect which makes it uninstall able - had to reuse my old part with the new seal parts which were OK but not worth the cost for just those - would not buy again.

Giving this two stars because I was able to use the new seat and stem seal to rebuild the faucet and it was a little cheaper than the Woodford kit. Please be aware that the threads do not match the original faucet. The bonnet threads do not match. I noticed that they did not start without a lot of effort. Rather than force the installation I tried another genuine Woodford bonnet and they threaded in easily. I reused the original bonnet and it threaded in easily as well. For first time do-it-yourselfers note that the bonnet threads are left handed. I also wrap the faucet in plastic wrap and soak the threads in penetrating oil overnight to make removal easier. So far the leaks are fixed, but the handle does not operate as solidly as before. Will see how long the repair lasts.

As other reviewers have noted, the brass head nut is either not machined precisely enough or its dimensions/threading are incorrect for the RK25. Luckily, I really only needed the wearable washers, packing, and gaskets for my replacement, and those all worked as expected.

The internal parts work good. I have no issues with the internal working parts. The issue I have is with the outside housing. The threads are not the same as with the Genuine Woodford RK25 frost free faucet parts. The brass housing is nice looking but it’s not useable. I had to use the old original housing that came with the faucet.

Overall I needed a rebuild kit as it was leaking at the valve stem whenever I used the faucet. The replacement packing nut threads/diameter was not correct and wouldn't screw into the faucet. The old one I was able to use and still rebuild the faucet. Much less expensive than other kits that I found. Honestly I don't know why they send a new packing nut. Whey can't we just buy the rubber seals as a kit? So it still worked. But if I am paying for a new part, it would be nice to be able to use it.

I can't give a 5-star because the initial brass piece had something wrong with the thread and would not screw in. I forced it a little ways and was able to get my water turned back on, but it was not usable. I contacted Woodford and they were quick to respond and quick to diagnose and send it a replacement part. From Woodford and prior reviews, I believe this was a very uncommon issue. Otherwise the parts were great quality and a very easy install. I expect this one to last another 30 years!
