I picked this up to control our gas fireplace valve, and it worked like a charm. The 3/8" square head fit the shut-off perfectly—snug without any wobble—and the metal construction feels durable, not flimsy like some of the cheaper keys out there. No rusting or bending under pressure, even after a few uses outdoors.It’s one of those tools you forget you need until you do, and for the price, I honestly didn’t expect it to be this well made. Smooth operation, good finish, and it gives you just enough leverage to make the job easy. Highly recommend

Quality for what it is. Although 3/8 it is not. I took a rotary tool to shape it to the correct size to fit the hydrants we have.

This key works well enough to turn the faucet on and off. It is a little tight to get on but it works.

Don' t buy. Made in China junk! it is about .006" too small to fit on to a standard 3/8" square hydrant faucet. Returning for refund.
