Chose it as a last minute option for a themed party. It arrived on time. I was nervous about the fit as according to the size chart I was on the cusp of Medium but only the Small was in stock and available for delivery IN TIME for the party. Although I only buttoned a couple buttons in the middle for the specific look I was after, I WAS able to button it all the way up. The buttons are a little stiff/tricky. A Med would probably have gone on over my head, but the Small better accentuated my figure. Got tons of compliments and everyone at the party understood my take on the theme! Huzzah!

Considering the price, style and materials, this is a nice coat! It was a bit long in the sleeves, but fit well everywhere else. It's a cool piece to have in your collection! I'm 5'3, size 10 dress and a 38D bra size and ordered the XXL, but the XL probably would have been fine.

I was looking for a Jimi Hendrix parade costume look as a musician playing 60s-70s music. This jacket was delivered quickly (just a few days). It feels like canvas with nylon lining (I’m guessing). I am a petite women’s size 8. Even though I checked the size chart, I hesitatingly ordered an XL sized jacket which fit almost perfectly. I liked the tailored fit. The gold threading is fragile and needs to be handled gently. I am able to undo the top 3 buttons and slip it over my head to save wear on the button hook threading.

The sizing descriptions were accurate and helped me pick just the right size. The quality of the material and sewing is very good. The look is great. I would definitely buy other clothing from this maker. I used this jacket to dress as a turn-of-the-century (early 1900's) circus band director. It looked very similar to the jackets worn in photographs of circus band directors from that era.
