If you are using a car-mounted tow bar, you need this style of baseplate. Fits 2010-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK models. Willy OK. Followed the installation instructions and fits perfectly on my 2014 JEEP Wrangler. Had to drill new holes in frame as existing holes not compatible. Very satisfied.

The photos clearly show that this base plate application is for our 2014 Jeep Wrangler Saraha unlimited. It bolted right up and all holes were present as the instruction sheet indicated. Only problem were the wires on the blind nuts but not a major thing. As this is my 3rd base plate installation this kit followed expectations. I recommend the kit. Oh, the cutting of access holes in rock guard was not as hard as it looked. I used a dremmel to cut them out rather than a knife. Be sure to torque the bolts.

Easy installation. No holes to drill on my 2018 wrangler jk. Adjusted perfectly to the preowned tow bar I bought online.

If I had followed the directions, I would not have been able to install. Two of the brackets did not work on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Perhaps they were not necessarily.However, with a few modifications, I got the tow bar on.

Most of the videos recommend putting lock tight on the threads. This doesn't work correctly, BECAUSE, you need to leave the bolts loose until the unit is completely installed so that it can be adjusted as needed. By the time you are ready to tighten the bolts the lock tight has dried and the nut on the bolt cannot be moved. This is especially bad for the bolts that are attached to the long wires. This kit comes with lock washers which should be enough. DON'T use the lock tight.

Easy to understand instructions, but you better have a heavy duty drill and a good stronger carbide tip drill bit as our 2015 Jeep Wrangler had to have two bolt holes drilled through the frame, one on each side. Measure twice, drill once! Be careful.

Local garages wanted from $250 to $350 to install this. WHAT? Six bolts and 1 hour is all it takes! So, I did it myself and saved!!
