Your cart is empty.This product is a powerful oxygen-based oxidizer. When used regularly, it will eliminate organic contaminants and keep pool water crystal clear. This product will not raise chlorine levels or produce combined chlorine or chloramines which can cause chlorine odor and eye irritation. Use this product whenever pool water appears excessively cloudy, has an unpleasant chlorine odor or causes eye or skin irritation. This product will oxidize the contaminants and chloramines that cause these unpleasant water conditions. Also, apply after heavy rain storms to destroy “combined chlorine” formed by nitrogen in rainfall. Apply 1 lb. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water every two weeks for pools with light swimming usage. For pools with heavy swimming usage, apply 1 lb. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water every week. Since this product contains no chlorine, there is no excessive waiting period before swimming may be resumed. Maintaining continuous pool circulation, distribute required amount of this product in the deep end of the pool.

100% potassium monopersulfate . Most are 38% to 42% oxidizing shock. You get a better value for your money

I use this just at startup in my Ecosmarte pool, to clean up the winter greenness. I add a dose of polyquat 60 and 10# of this to my 40,000 gallon pool and it is blue the next morning and ready to run. If we get a lot of I rain I may use a little for a tune up, but otherwise am happy with my minimal chemistry pool. I even adjust pH with the dry ice that comes with my groceries, so life is good.

This product is far superior to the others. Our water stays clearer and is very pleasant to lounge or swim in without having the chemical odors. Probably because of the 100% MPS content as opposed to other brands that are 30-40% MPS. This is also a very cost efficient product. Especially for us because we are using it in our swim spa and our Jacuzzi.

Shock is such a rip-off in general. Tiny containers with diluted chemicals. This product seems to be the most potent and cheapest I have found so far.
