Product helps reduce evaporation but in very hot conditions it is less effective.

I don't understand the science behind this product. But I just had a salt pool installed and the pool company gave me a bottle of this and recommended I use this instead of a cover to keep the chemicals from altering too much with the condensation. I don't know how this works, but it does seem to keep the water warmer the next day. I'll keep using weekly for the winter months.
