It features a polycarbonate bowl that's durable and break resistant; the bowl is transparent for unobstructed visibility. This unit features a vegetable prep attachment with a kidney-shaped opening and external ejection. To cut and blend a variety of products, the Robot Coupe R2N CLR food processor includes an "S" blade, a 2-millimeter grating disc, and a 4-millimeter slicing disc. It operates at a rate of 1,725 RPM and features a direct-drive induction motor for lasting performance. For increased precision, it also features a pulse function. Overall, this unit measures 83⁄4 inches wide by 15-13⁄16 inches deep by 193⁄16 inches high.

This item replaced a the similar product I had in my kitchen for over 20 years - this brand is TOP NOTCH and blows everyone else out of the water. If you cook, I can't say enough good things about RoboCoupe products. This model is large - I thought I was getting the size smaller, but didn't want to deal with sending it back, so it is fine. Great speed, weight, does everything quickly. Only thing: there is no handle on the chopper basket, so be aware.

This is a serious kitchen tool with a 1HP induction motor so it's very powerful and very quiet. The blade is from Sabatier and it makes quick business of just about anything you throw at it. It's pricey, but so is a Vitamix, or any commercial grade mixer. They are tools in the shop. I've used many food processors, I really like this Robot Coupe.

OMG!!! I love this food processor! Quality and durability. I am not a professional chef. This professional food processor is used several times a week in a home kitchen. I had used the popular line of in-home food processors for years. The problem with them is that they all died anywhere from 3 months to 2 years of age. I purchased a Robot Coupe because I wanted quality that would function for many many years. The RC has met and exceeded my expectations. This baby gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Way to go RC.

Wife loves this! Don't keep spending your money on cheap processors that only last a year. Buy one of these and it will be the only one you will need. Probably will pass it down to the next generation when we are too old to do our own cooking.
