It can be a little tricky lining up the set screw with the twists on the drill bits, but once you have they hold well.

They aren't the best machined and the included allen key is a joke (like included allen keys often are), but they helped me fix a router so I could use its over the table adjustment feature without the router slipping and I have also used them a few times as their intended purpose while drilling, so really can't complain. At the rate I need them, a more expensive set wouldn't have been worth it.

Allen key provided no longer fits because it is made of soft metal and has rounded off. Un able to remove stop from drill bit.

Works well. Much more accurate than placing a tape marker. Important to place a small piece of painters tape on the wood where the hole is being drilled to keep from maring the wood when the drill stopper comes in contact.

The inside diameter of each ring is too large, which means the ring does not stay square to the bit when you set the screw and the ring is not secure. I guess for the price I should not be complaining :-)

I bought these for drilling a hole into double wall tumblers. I wanted an easy way to stop after pushing through the first wall. I was skeptical after reading some reviews but I purchased it anyway. I'm glad I did! Worked flawlessly.Some people complained that it would move. I can see where this might happen if you didn't fasten it properly... When I tightened this to the bit I made sure the hole where you tightened it to the bit lined up with a groove on the bit rather than on the flat smooth area of the bit. I think that makes a big difference.

Product is as advertised, good quality and arrived early. A lot of hardware stores don't carry them anymore.

This set is a piece of junk. Cheap material, I purchased two items from the same company, I will never do this mistake again. Disappointed. Hex key doesn't fit and when I used my own set to tighten it up, the screw head got damaged with the minimal force I applied and still did not tighten it, it seems the screw threads are also gone as on the other ones the screw just spin over and over.Can I give it -5 stars?

I bought this set specifically for the 5/8" and 1/2" stops. the half inch was too tight it didn't fit over my half inch drill. It was a simple fix I just drilled it our with the 1/2 drill it was meant for. Once I got it sized up and polished it worked for what I needed it for. The 5/8" one on the other hand was a bit loose. It still served it's purpose. I wasn't totally relying on these stops for precision. I was using them as a physical indicator I was close to bottoming out On my prep work for a milling job I was doing. I got what I needed out of these stops. Just took some extra time, effort & problem solving.

They work like I need them to.They don't give perfect results as something that costs more money would. But that's not why I bought them. They work well enough to set a depth at the budget I have.

Well worth the money. Good quality product, and, unlike often times, you actually receive what you see in the original image (minus the shiny coat on the product).The set screw does a great job at holding the collar on the drill bit, and certainly allows you to control the depth that you want to drill with for what every project you are working with. I also used these to hold a wooden ball, which I attached to a flexible drill bit. I did this when drilling holes between wall studs, to connect wires on an existing wall.Overall, worth every penny!
