My review is based on putting down 25 bags of Mulchahey a week ago, and a fairly heavy rainfall last night. The mulch appears to be staying fairly in place however I noticed with the rain that there was some shifting about. I believe if you used very heavy applications, results would be better. I’m giving it four stars because it takes much more than described in the directions to sufficiently adhere effectively. The direction state to give two coats for heavy bonding, but the shifting I saw occurred in sections where I put three and four coats. I applied the product with a pump sprayer. It is very much like water down Elmers glue consistently so the pump sprayer worked well. The nice thing is that it sprays on blue and dry clear so that you can see where you have sprayed. Overall, I can Recommend the product, I just suggest buying more than you think you need. I cannot speak to the durability of how long the glue will last.

I've had this sitting on the shelf a bit, waiting for the weather to get warmer so I could apply it to our homemade gravel path to the house. And after a long wait, it worked pretty well! We've been having to re-add gravel every year because the weather and our shoes have gradually removed it, bit by bit, and that was unnecessary money I was spending. After applying, it finally seems to be set in place! It being non-toxic was a big plus because we have outdoor cats that I feared might walk into it. So this helped eliminate that worry.

We have a small waterfall that has a great deal of small river rock in it and it seams as though the water continually washes the stones down hill over time making me have to go and retrieve the stones so that I may return them back where they belong. This mulch glue assists in keeping the stones in place from 12-24 months so that I don't have to keep retrieving them. You can use this a couple different ways. You can apply it straight or you can mix it with water and disperse through a pump sprayer. It is best to apply 2 coats allowing 24 hours in between application to dry. With this done your stones, bark, mulch, etc will hold it's place and not blow away. It has done wonders for us.

so at the walk up to our front door, between concrete panels are these 2" wide plastic spacers (expansion joints really) ..... these were super crunched up and discolored. In Arizona we have gravel (granite), so I sifted out the large and saved the "fines", and once I removed those chewed up plastic expansion things, I made this mix and filled in the gap with fine Granite but will not rinse out by rain or by hose as I fortified it (stabilized it) with this product. It locks it, but still looks attractive. Works great for this task, and I need to snap a photo and update this review. Problem solved.
