Out the package I was greeted by large and small scratches. That's doesn't bother me other than some of the deeper ones that I'm afraid will catch while sharpening. Not a great look for something that's thirsty plus dollars after shipping and tax.

This sharpens carbide cutters and makes them even sharper. I have an off brand rougher that was dull from and I had already turned it. I sharpened with this and wow, the difference was night and day. It was sharper than when it was brand new.
