This was what I was looking for in a work bench chair. I do a lot of soldering on electronic components and also fabricate things for various projects. This chair is comfortable and the ability to extend the height allows me to sit comfortably and work. I also like its appearance, it really fits well with my work area.

This is a very good shop stool. You have to assemble it of course, but all the parts fit perfectly and the end result is a four legged stool that doesn't rock at all. You can raise and lower it several inches and the back is adjustable. The seat padding is excellent. This may be the best made product of Chinese manufacture that I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, hardware and instructions were missing from the box. Box appeared to be a return as it had obviously been opened and taped back up. We sent it back and hubby got a Dewalt from Tractor Supply
