Purchased a Rome sundial separately and it does not fit on this pedestal. Confirm your sundial has an adapter on the bottom to receive the male end of the pedestal mount.

I purchased a ten year anniversary sun dial from another company then had to purchase a metal plate -drill a hole in it and counter sink the hole using my drill press. then epoxy the sun dial I bought to the plate. Next I followed the idea of another purchaser and filled the Rome B28 Aluminum Column Sundial Pedestal with concrete and placed a pipe in the middle . Once it dried I dug a hole where the wife needed the Rome B28 Aluminum Column Sundial Pedestal place in the yard and filled the hole with concrete and place the pole in the bottom of the Rome B28 Aluminum Column Sundial Pedestal in that concrete.Where it will be hopefully for the rest of our days together.

I received this at the same time as a new Rome zodiac sundial and the screw on the top of the stand is larger (depth and width) then the hole in the sundial. It screws on partially with great effort but it is not level. It's not worth the effort to return it but I would not trust the listing again from this company which stated "Pedestal designed to work exclusively with sundials from Rome for a wide range of Rome sundials "
