WOW! Great Light. Clamped to my grill lid handle, I've learned to swivel the light as I position the hood, or you may cook/crush this fine light! Mongo like light!!!

My daughter bought this BBQ lamp for a friend. It didn't work after a few uses. Disappointed.

The Good:I got two of these thinking thats what it would take to light a 3 burner Weber. I was wrong. One is enough! So much so that I gave the other one as a gift. (Warning that you might not wanna leave this in the rain)They are nice and bright, and the color of the LEDs is neutral enough that its easy to tell if a steak is cooked how you wanted.You can mount them on the handle in such a way that its far enough away from the grill body that it doesn't melt.The heat does not seem to be an issue (yet).It comes with the 3 AA Size batteries needed!The Bad (Kinda)Now the description does say "weather resistant" hahah thats a JOKE.The directions in the box, say not to leave outside...So I figured I would see how it faired.I don't think it made it through the first rain without damage, by the 2nd one it had water in the lens and stopped working, turning its self on and off.The mount screw has rusted and the corrosion on the circuit board for the switch is very bad.Bottom line, either take it inside after every use, or think of it as a project when it breaks, you can rebuild it to be water resistant.Starting to clean it up, fix what rusted, and seal the housing. Might turn out awesome... just have to see.

Bought in October - per instructions did not leave on grill due to weather - Had to tighten screw to attach to handle each time I grilled. Plastic "nut" in mount stripped so that light would not hold tightly to handle. The concept and light while it mounted was great. If the defective design was corrected I would try it again.
