NSA has better instructions but 30 dollar savings is nice.Didn't like the instalation so I made a lot of modifications. 1- I made a grommet out of a grade 8 bolt so the cable can easily slide through. 2- I fabricated a more solid mount for the one way cable safety device.3- I installed a reinforced tube which allows the cable to securely and easily pull through.4- I fabricated a loop on my hitch to prevent excessive sag.5- I installed a connection point on my receiver tube (instructions say not too)But I also used a cable loop.Goal is to never use but be legal.I set mine up to engage the brake partially as my safety cables are almost fully stretched (cables are 12k breaking) . The safety cable are not going to break so I want the jeep to brake so when I slow down it doesn't hit the RV. I have a loop on the tow bar so cable securely hold up the tow bar.The safety brake away cable mounted in the middle below the tow bar. The primary braking cable is mounted in the middle above the tow bar.I waited to review until I actually had real road experience, I had no issues with the system operations.

This product is exactly the same as the NSA brand name product, but at a better price. Some have said that their sticker on the red block was pointing in the wrong direction, but mine was fine. Make sure you understand what this product does and how it works, and you will know the proper direction for installation, sticker or no sticker (IYKYK).NOTE: This emergency braking cable only engages when the towed vehicle completely separates from the hitch (which is hopefully NEVER), so it is good to leave LOTS of slack on the cable between the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle. Failure to do so will engage the brakes on the towed vehicle while turning and hold the towed vehicle brakes on. You'll only know there is a problem when you start smelling burned up brakes!

Excellent product, easy to install with minimal mechanical skills.Instructions could use some reviews, not everyone wants to watch a video while in the middle of install. Instructions do not show how to attach to the RV frame.Should have stronger warning that the red break-away tabs location is critical, some people might not follow that part of the setup. Would be nice to have torque specs for the cable brackets.

Identical to the NSA brand. Cable was threaded correctly. The label was installed backwards. I peeled the label of and repositioned it 180 degrees. Voila, saved 27 bucks.
