This phone holder for my Jeep is exactly what I needed! It’s sturdy, easy to install, and keeps my phone secure even on bumpy roads. The adjustable design fits my phone perfectly, and the mount doesn’t interfere with visibility. It’s a great accessory for hands-free navigation and calls while driving. Highly recommend!

I originally bought this product from Extreme Terrain, had to get a replacement due to the rubber clips that hold the phone breaking. Then the ball bracket broke. Bought another one off amazon back in May 2024. The rubber broke again with in the first two weeks but it still held my phone okay. Then out of the blue the ball broke again. I ordered the mount only from the manufacturer rugged ridge 3 weeks ago and it still has not shipped. The concept is good but getting replacement under warranty is a joke. Actually purchasing them is a joke too. Won't spend another dime on this entire mount or purchase from this company again.

Love the product, just wish you could purchase the holder by itself. I have gone through 2 of them and just purchased a 3rd. It gets a lot of Texas heat and rubber wears out.

I have had this Rugged Ridge in my 2016 Wrangler JK 2 door for about 6 years. It installed easily and looks great. I love that I am able to connect my GoPro on the mount facing out the front window. As mentioned in the other reviews the part that holds the phone had rubber edges that didn't do a great job holding the phone so I have made some adaptions over the years. For a while, I cut off the rubber and added a magnetic phone holder and a metal disc in my phone case and that worked well until I upraded to an iPhone 12 mini and wanted to use MagSafe for charging so couldn't have the metal disc in the case anymore. I had the idea to find a magsafe charger with the same side ball mount as the Rugged Ridge. I scoured photos of chargers on Amazon and settled on this one from Hoseason https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1NTZ3QZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details - IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!! I swapped out the charger head for the original on the Rugged Ridge and it looks and works seamlessly. I have yet to test it offroad but it feels really strong so I don't expect any issues. Added bonus is wireless charging while I drive.

This is an amazing fit for my Jeep. It’s easy to install, you just need a socket wrench and you are good to go. It’s looks like it belongs there. The fit is seamless. Holds a Samsung, adjusts to you can look at maps while driving. It’s solid and doesn’t move around. If you are like me, and tired of paying to upgrade the flaky NAV system, this is the best thing! There’s also the ability to attach a GoPro or dash cam in tandem with the phone mount or on its own. Well worth the money!

Very disappointed, while installing mount the edge sliced into my dash. But now I'm stuck with it. The amount was tight to get into the vent connection, had to put some force to get those tongs in the right location. Not sure how the slice happen since I was at an angle formthe vent. The slice is at the curve rim at the tray well. When I have the phone mounted, it takes up space so putting my sunglasses and smokes now have to be sticking out the sides behind the phone. Original tray allowed phone, smokes and sunglasses to rest inside well with no obstruction. Now its like a flower arrangement with glasses angling out behind the phone, with the phone as the center piece. I now have to shift my body to look around it to see right side of vehicle when turning right. Would not recommend at the current design. Now I will suggest a fix. Obviously smooth out edges, put sanding in the product cycle. And, flip the cell phone mount, such that the when the phone is mounted it remains insidenthe mount, leaving the tray open for glasses and smokes to rest flat and out of view. Just put the ball on the inside versus outside. The phone clamp will sit inside the mount structure and place the phone closer to windshield. You might have to trim the lower L bracket so it doesn't pertrude into the tray well. Change this bracket to make this more accessible to the tray and less intrusive to the view.

専用の部品なので当然収まりは良いですが、使い勝手は市販の汎用品とさほど変わらないのではないのでしょうか。

I have to say they did a good job with this product - particularly how it installs using the existing screw and requires no changes or modifications. to the jeep. I put a small piece of electrical tape under the plastic where it snaps over the jeep dash just to make sure it wouldn't scratch the plastic. I'm using the mount with an iphone 6 plus and a case. It took me a second to realize the part that holds the phone expands out. At first t looked like it wouldn't work with an iphone 6 plus. It does fit the phone OK, although it feels like it's reaching it's limit. It holds the phone just fine but I would say the iphone 6 plus feels a little heavy on the mount - meaning, when you press the home or other bottoms you need to hold the phone so it doesn't move when you press. I think it's a product of a narrow cradle holding a larger phone. Also, there is a little vibration or movement - not enough to worry about but might matter if you're taking video off the dash. All that aside, I'm impressed so far with how it installs and how clean it looks. It works great if you use your phone for navigation. And it has the second place to mount another device if desired. With the warranty, I would say it's a great product.
