Does not fit. Had to use old bracket as others stated. Website said it would fit correctly. Do not purchase for CJ7!

Agree with other review, does not fit stock CJ7. Bracket is off by 45 degrees and too small to bend for correct fit. Had to use old bracket with the 11/4 inch u-bolts -- basically paid 38 bucks for u bolts.

Product does not fit according to the advertised info. Did not fit the exciting steering damper. The bracket is off by 45 degrees. The Co. Told me bend the bracket to fit or use the U bolts with my old set up. Um! No!I'm having second thoughts about RR.I bought their original plastic valve cover kit for my '84 cj7. Today, I just spent the afternoon installing it. Every thing was good but the side hold down bolts. They were not the correct size. Luckily, I had kept my bolts from when I switched my plastic cover to a aluminum. I'm still trying to find out if the vibration from the rocker lifters is normal to feel on the cover as you put your hand on it. I don't think the rocker bridge studs are long enough for the self locking nuts on the top.
