It was great that some videos were available on the steps to install this switch. It took about 25 minutes start to finish simple tools and much less that the $200 dollars the Lexus dealer would charge. Our car is already 13 years old. It runs great, but I don't want to spend a fortune on small repairs that are DYI.

Had to drill out plastic and use OEM metal bracket. Wear gloves when you are doing this job! (factory tar)Trunk does open with ease after install

Switch did not work after 30 days not eligible for refunds or credit.Mechanic did not notice any fuse or electronic issue. Switch was poor quality. Installation was not difficult. However when the product does not work, the ease of instillation is irrelevant
