I bought this system to replace the transmitter and re-use the existing wire. I cannot speak to the quality of the wire provided. I am thrilled with the transmitter and collars, though. The transmitter actually transmitted much stronger than expected. From 1-100, the recommended setting is 33, but I had to turn mine down to 1 initially. Now, after a couple of weeks, the signal has degraded a little bit and I have it on 2. The collars have two good selling points. 1) they are rechargeable, so you don’t have to buy expensive little batteries, and 2) they have a little light that indicates they are working. None of my other collars ever had that feature. Five stars for the transmitter and collars. The wire, ?

One of the colors just continuously shocks my dog no matter how close she is to the fence and there's no number on the manual to get a hold of the company

Our kids dogs run wild in the backyard when it's time to go to the bathroom. Now that we are moving back home, I want to redo the backyard and step 1 is to rein them in. Enter the RUXAN 2025 Underground Dog Fence System.The system will allow you to set specific areas for your dog(s) to be kept inside without putting up a physical fence. You bury the wires underground (but make sure to keep it higher than 12"/30cm deep), set the base unit and put the collars on the dog(s) and you're off and running. It's pretty simple. The main reason that I wanted this unit was that I could set the perimeter around the patio and a smaller section of the yard and keep them from going to the bathroom all over the yard. It has worked very well and, once they realized what was happening, they stayed inside the perimeter!The dual collars will allow you to keep two dogs in the same area or, something I haven't seen in other units, let you set a perimeter for one and a different one for the second dog! It's a nice feature but, as I am not using it, I can't speak on how well it works. The adjustable power setting is also great for dogs with different coats. One of our dogs has much thicker fur so we turned up the power to make sure he felt it while our other dog needed a much lower setting.If you are looking to set up a fenced in area without having to put up an actual fence, the Ruxan system is a great option. It is very versatile, can handle two dogs and is easy to install. For $90, I think it is fairly priced and well worth it.

So much cheaper, and easier than installing a physical fence! Up and running quickly with this electric fence. My backyard is fairly small, but my older puppy is big and with lots of energy! The electric fence also works well for renters who would still like a fenced in yard, but don't have the rights to install one.The wired need to be buried underground, but not too deep. Comes with everything you need. The beeping and stimulation gradually increases and gets stronger as you get closer to the fence, starting within a certain distance to the fence. There is a trigger point where it starts in.You can set up a single zone, a double zone or do a double loop around the whole yard for extra security. You can also set up a smaller zone within the main overall zone.This is designed to fit the size and shape of any yard.The waterproof collar is adjustable by a lot, so it will fit all sizes of dogs. You simply cut off the excess. It fits all dogs from 10 pounds to 110 pounds. t's a durable and comfortable collar. My puppy can even go swimming in this collar and it will still work! Great for rainy days even!This invisible fence works well! Recommend it.

This was not effective at all in the sense that the collars were faulty. They would randomly go off when our dogs were nowhere near the line/fence. It’s very discouraging.

Absolute junk. My dog is still able too get places that are over the boundry wire bit also at times when he's no where near or out just goes off nonstop and continually shocks him and wont stop no matter where he is. Spent 5 hours setting this up, all indicator lights show is opperating correctlly but obviously is not.
