This review is for the RV Awning Lights 20FT by GliztechOur travel trailer came with a 18 foot awning and the LED strip that is attached to it had several DOA LED chips when we got it. Because we don't use it a whole lot, there has not been a huge rush to replace tha LED strip, however hwen this product became available, i decided to try it out with our RV since it would eliminate the dead LED chips and a COB light is more consistent lighting and a bettr option than the individual LED chips which our ld one had.The installation was very easy, however I have cocerns about the adhesive backing should we spend a few weeks in very hot teperatures as the glue may or may not have issues with heat levels like that. We will see how this lasts.in terms of brightness, our older lights were more on the 3000-2700 K colour temperature and these are more of a 4000-5000K cool white which produces a very bright, very consistent strip of light. Now the only issue is that the bright light tends to attract some bugs, but that is an easy enough problem to deal with.Not a fancy light strip with remotes and adjustable colours, dimming, etc, just basic on or off powered by the 12V system and controlled by your existing light switch. The strip is cuttable- our RV Awning is 18 feet and this strp is 20 feet so we were easily able to cut of the excess 2 feet that we did not require.Happy with this and would recommend it.If you need the bright light, this LED strip is a good choice.

Bought this to replace the Lippert Solara awning light strip that failed on my RV. The Lippert replacement was $185, which was a little ridiculous. Removed the old one from the plastic strip, pulled the new one thru and put a little RTV on the end so it wouldn’t move. It’s a 2 person job, one to pull and the other to feed it in the strip. Cut it to length as it was a little long. Hooked up the 2 wires and it’s just like new! This led light strip is much brighter than the factory model.

A solder connection was broken and would not light up after the first few inches. What a dis appointment. Good thing the glue strip wasn’t very good so it was easy to remove.

This LED light strip is simple, easy to mount, easy to wire, and very bright. The light is bright white and the entire strip is very bright, enough to illuminate the under awning area very well. The light strip has a very sticky adhesive on the length of the back, and also comes with ten clear clips with 3M adhesive and screws if needed. The wiring is simple, just red to positive and black to negative. It comes with and extra length of wiring to reach your switch or battery, though there aren't any connectors so be prepared to solder and heat shrink as necessary.

I ordered this COB light strip to install down the center of a 23 foot shed for interior lighting. I'll be using a 12 volt lithium ion battery with a solar charger or a 20 to 12 volt converter to use my DeWalt batteries. This light strip produces an icy white that is very bright and the illumination is continuous along the strip due to the COB LED design. This will provide an even light level along the length of the shed. The actual width of the strip is only 1 cm and is very flexible with a silicone layer for weather resistance. Options are limited compared to standard LED strip lights. This light is either on or off, with no color options or dimming. As COB strip light technology progresses I'm sure more options will be included in the future. However, on or off icy white is perfect for my application. Overall I definitely recommend this light strip, based upon it's COB LED design, continuous bright icy white illumination, quality construction and simple operation.

This product is high quality, the rubber strip is highly flexible and waterproof. The adhesive is strong just peel off and stick on the clean surface. The adhesive is very waterproof I am worry the tape came off after rain but that's not the case. It had rain for the entire week here and it still held up well. I have check the light strip and it was the same condition as I installed. The installation is straight forward. Just peel stick and connect to the battery. I have install a switch before connect to the battery and it absolute like a professional job. I got so many compliment from my others trailer friends.The color is 600K very bright white, it is so sharp at the dark night in the woods. I am very happy with this product!
