This easily adds some extra protection to my RV from deadly gases. Just find or run a 12 volt wire to the location (I put one in the bedroom.) mount and connect.

Our RV Propane Carbon Monoxide Detector started beeping so we removed it (with much difficulty) and discovered we could not just replace batteries. It "Self Expired" at it's appointed date and we needed to purchase a new one. We chose this one and it was a Home Run. EASIEST INSTALLMENT of anything I've done to our RV and I've done a TON to it!! The only "problem" was that it wasn't the exact same size as our one one. I use some Sintra Plastic Board to cover the hole. It's on the floor so you can't even see it unless you're laying on the floor. Hooked it up and it's working PERFECTLY!!! What I thought was going to be a hassle, was actually the easiest thing I did all day!! I highly recommend this Detector.

Other reviews I read complained about the same thing it's true the wires will not stay in the supply connector had to use wire nuts will advise when I see how the unit holds up.

The product will fit 3 different profiles and dosnt require wire connectors like competing brands . Easy instal very happy
