This compact gas leak detector pen is very affordable and of great quality!The package comes with a very detailed instruction manual that describes the product's data, functions and usage, etc. After installing two AAA batteries, you can use the detector pen directly by just pressing the button. It's very small and portable, easy to use anywhere in your home, you can also use this detector pen by sticking it into some crevices, it's very effective for detecting natural gas. Also, it comes with the 2 AAA batteries so it’s super convenient, no need to buy additional on your own!I am very happy with it, this gas leak detection pen is a must have tool for any home or workplace!

I tested this unit on my propane gas stove, and it does work. It's even decently sensitive. However, it's kinda slow to respond. This means if you're going to use the device like a wand over a gas line to find a leak, you'll need to be really slow with it. I also question how good this would be on an outdoor line on anything but the calmest of days.Beside the lack of speed in the sensor, my only other complaint is that the instructions are very poorly written. The English translation is quite bad, but at least it was good enough that I was able to figure out how to use the device.

This gas leak detector can detect more than a dozen combustible gases including natural gas, gas, methane, propane and more, which is great. I like its sensitivity, the sensor of this detector is so sensitive that it can determine a gas leak within 0.5 seconds which is very fast!Not only does this detector have an audible alarm, but it also has a visual alarm to indicate the severity of a combustible gas leak. Also this detector has a pen clip on the back, which is one of my very favorite design, you can easily hang it on your clothes or bag. So this detector can also be used outdoors.All in all, I like this gas leak detector very much, it protects my and my family's health and property safety.

I purchased the APOWER Natural Gas Leak Detector and this portable gas sniffer has become one of the indispensable safety tools in my home.Just yesterday I smelled a gas odor with the gas stove turned off. After turning off the gas, I used the device to detect along the gas line and pinpointed the gas leak, the gas sniffer did its job very well.I think this gas sniffer has very high sensitivity and accuracy, it is amazing that it can accurately detect even a trace amount of gas leaking from the pipeline after the gas is turned off. I really appreciate its audible and visual alarm function, once gas leakage is detected, the loud buzzer and bright indicator light back immediately give a clear warning, which provides us with safety.Please feel free to recommend this gas sniffer to your neighbors or family members, trust me this will be a lifesaver for you in critical times.

This is a review for Natural Gas Leak Detector with Audible & Visual Alarm, Portable Sniffer to Locate Combustible Sources Like Methane, Propane for HomeI got this so I could keep an eye on my 30lb propane tank I keep around for my buddy heater, and refilling the fuel keg 1lb bottles. I first tested it by moving it around the cylinder and there was no beeps, which I figured was good. Then I filled some bottles up and moved this around the connection right after removing the connection, and it chirped on both high and low settings. I waited a little bit and stuck the nose of the detector right in the valve area, and it was still able to pick up the low amount of propane that had not dissipated yet. As far as I am concerned, this should have been a pretty good test, and the detector worked.I think I need to fiddle with it a bit more to figure out exactly how the high and low settings work and I'll be keeping it on me when I bring my propane heater ice fishing, to keep an eye on the propane levels in the shanty. So far, I am happy with this detector. I will update the review if anything changes.

I really like the compact size, functionality, accuracy, and ease of use of this detector. It works great at leak detection and I like how I can adjust the sensitivity levels to pinpoint a leak. It self calibrates when it turn on then it is ready to detect even the slightest amounts of gasses which is very nice.
