Recently installed it and my rv roof is crowned so the light bezel doesnβt go up enough to meet the fan (void of about 1.5 inch). I used white rv roof tape to cover the void and although not perfect it is only noticeable when looking for it. This fan will work well for flat roofs but crowned requires some ingenuity! I havenβt used it yet but appears to work much better than the one being replaced. The light is fabulous - almost too bright.

I put one of these in a camper van I outfitted for my son, I've checked on it several times while it was raining, I've not seen any leaking, but I sealed the hole i cut for it with a layer of double sided adhesive tape and taped over all four sides after screwing it in place, then coated all of the exposed 4 sides with both RV sealant and printable gorilla seal. Don't expect to just screw it in place and now get a leak.

This works perfect for keeping moisture out of the van and keeping it cool when parked in the sun. The one requirement is having adequate fresh air intake. The fan struggles when no openings are made to draw in fresh air, and will probably reduce the motor life.

Works great! Love the remote. Very bright light which is a bonus. Only thing I don't like is when you put it in Auto it defaults to pulling air in. I haven't found a way to change the default. Other than that, it's a great fan

I bought thename brand for one of the vents in my RV, but when another one needed replaced, I just couldn't rationalize the cost, so I bought this. The quality appears to be just as good or better than the name brand item I purchased (The one that has the max airflow possible -hint hint) for about half the cost.I did rewire the light to operate independently off of a switch.

3 months is all I got out of this again!The company sent me a whole new fan with everything, and i appreciated this. I figured the old one was defective or something. But now I'm thinking differently. There is most definitely a flaw with there design. I love the light it provides in my show/bathroom and the convenience of the remote is very nice , not to mench the variable speed fan. It's nice when it works πBut just now after turning the unit on, it began to smoke and then the fan stopped working very slowly. And now the fan isn't working at all. The lights still work and the vent opens and closes but no fan functions. Same as the last fan minus the smoking part lol.In am honestly I would avoid buy this fan. It's not very reliable for the money you pay for it. It will fail its just a question of when. Customer support is awesome. They will help in anyway they can, but they might not have control over how the product was made.Hopefully they update this problem at some point, Perhaps the motor draws to much power for the circuit chip that controls the fan function, idk π€·ββοΈ. But what i do know is that a vent fan or fan in general should work for several years or longer, and this is my second fan unit.

Love the light! Just installed it today so not sure how long it will last but itβs very well built. Not an easy install but thatβs just bc of the RV, not due to the design. Works great, fan is quiet :)
