Awesome! Full support of the step into my trailer. Worked perfect for my single step into my Jayco 184BH. I've always felt like the step takes unnecessary strain stepping in and out, so I've always opted to not use it, or support it with the screw style jacks. This is a game changer. Sleek and low profile when stored away. The nut to deploy the jack is the same 19mm size as the stabilizer jacks on each corner of the trailer, so it's easy to deploy when setting up the trailer with my cordless drill. Easily installed with 2 provided bolts. Everything lined up with the slots in my step. Easy as it gets!

Overall, I think I'll be happy with this rv step support.Installation did take some head scratching, grinding, drilling etc to make it work.Hopefully, it will be an asset worthy putting up the effort to do.It does seem to stabilize the step, keeps the bottom step from flexing so much, gives a better sense to your step?I put the jack support at the leading edge of the bottom step, wouldn't work at rear of step, won't fold up.Yes, the jack works opposite of ALL the other corner support jacks...why? Oh well, not that big a deal, at least it's the same size socket and it has a long shaft on the provided socket making it a little easier to use.

Functionally, this works great as a step support. But... It could be sooooo much better! For me, it needed modifications right out of the box.First, the threading on the drive rod is completely wrong. I use an impact driver to deploy all my stabilizers. To do so, I simply use the forward setting on my driver and down they go. This step stabilizer is the opposite. Not a big deal right? Wrong. When I'm setting up or breaking down I consistently forget to push the switch and end up over tightening or further lifting the step. It's annoying... To fix this issue, I had to order a reverse thread nut, drill, and reset the roll pin holding the nut on. That required a trip to the hardware store and some time online finding the correct nut, then shipping, and blah blah blah.. You get it.Second. All my stabilizers utilize a 3/4in socket.. Not this one. It uses a 19mm socket. It does come with a socket and wrench but again, annoying to have to switch out sockets while setting up or breaking down. Yes, I can use my 3/4in socket on the 19mm. But it is a little too large and eventually I will probably strip the nut. Then I have to order another reverse thread nut, drill, set pin, blah blah blah again.Third... I have lippert folding 2 step, well, steps.. To fit this stabilizer, I needed to cut the ends of the center hinging bolts flush with the nuts to clear the little grab grab handle on the step. Sure, I could have mounted the stabilizer behind the handle, but then it wouldn't provide the support where you need it, on the leading edge of the step. Also, I needed to add a couple washers between the step and stabilizer to space it appropriately for proper installation..After all was said and down, it now works the way it should. Just don't expect a simple 15min install.

Nice removable stabilizer. Helps level the rv. It works well, its about same size and quality as my car jack. I put a wood block under it and it does a good job leveling out the mid point of my rv.It's priced a bit high but well worth it!

Easy up, easy down. To add to the ease a socket is included with a seperate tool to spin. The socket can also be used in any standard drill which is common practice among RV'ers. This unit has a flat bottom and top which allows it to make perfectly smooth contat with the flat metal bottom of the stair. Works like a charm!

Our camper has two-man sized doors, one had a far too short stabilizer that required wood or something else to be below it to do it’s intended job. Time to replace. Here are my thoughts:The stabilizer arrived quickly and was well packaged. It includes the hardware to mount it, the stabilizer, a ¼ inch chuck adapter for your nut driver and some instructions. The installation went smoothly and required drilling some holes. Once installed, the stabilizer performed flawlessly. The powder coating looks solid, and the entire unit is made out of steel, so I suspect it will work for as long as I have the camper.Recommend!

This drill-powered RV step stabilizer jack tool proved invaluable for a recent DIY project, specifically lifting my heavy cast iron bathtub. The robust metal design provided the necessary support to safely raise the tub, allowing me to adjust the legs for leveling and complete some quick floor repairs. This tool was a budget-friendly alternative to renting a specialized jack or hiring a plumber, and it made a difficult (but straightforward) job much more manageable. It’s not applicable to most I would guess, but for me, the height of this was just right to easily reach the underside of my tub and then push up the tub enough for some wiggle room to work in. So long as you have a reasonably strong drill at hand, this stabilizer can also be used as a temporary jack tool for DIY projects–just be cognizant about the weight you’re aiming to support and make sure your item is braced in more than one point (since this tool could tip over backwards or forwards depending on how you set up.)

We got this RV step stabilizer kit for my rig because, that wobbly step situation was getting old, and I wanted something to make getting in and out feel a bit more secure. Overall, I'm happy with it and it definitely met my expectations for making the steps feel sturdier, I really liked how easy it was to set up, seriously, it took just a few minutes, and you can even use a power drill to adjust the height, which is a neat touch. It's adjustable and has plenty of room so it should fit most RVs, you can tell the stability it provides, and it feels pretty solid for the price
