DO NOT PURCHASE X 2 - BOUGHT A REFURBISHED UNIT AND FIRST TIME USED IT WAS HEATING UP AND COULD SMELL ELECTRIC SMOKE. I LIKED THE WEIGHT AND EASY START SO RETURNED AND BOUGHT A NEW ONE. I HAD OTHER PROJECTS AND DIDN'T USE THE NEW ON FOR OVER 90 DAYS. FIRST TIME I USED IT SAME THING - SMOKING WITHIN 5 MINUTES.

This is my second time ordering this product. I really like the way it trims and cut my lawn. Great product to start a young child on weed eating around the lawn. Very lite and safe.

Won’t replace a gas model but this weed whacker is great. Quite handy. Go ahead and buy the after market hard cutting teeth attachment. The string on this is a pain. Highly recommend.

This edger was simple to assemble, worked out of the box, no issue. We went with this one since we already had a number of RYOBI tools. I was able to get the yard done with a single battery.

Everyone knows a battery-powered tool isn’t normally going to have the guts of a gas-powered one. This little trimmer is super handy but gutsy it is not. It easily cuts through grass but if there’s a weed with a bulkier stalk, it just can’t cut it.I like that I can switch the battery with another tool I have from the same maker.

This is a great unit. I love the ability to rotate the head 180 degrees to get the best angle for trimming. The battery life of the original battery and other Ryobi batteries I've purchased as a backup for those big jobs.This is actually our 2nd purchase of this item. I received a Ryobi string trimmer and leaf blower as a Father's Day gift over 10 years ago. The 1st one faithful served me to maintain my 1/3 acre lot and also used heavily on our 9.2 acre lot at our church as I help in weekly mowing/trimming there for all that time.
