I have a custom setup that needed an air stream heated. This element was the perfect size and shape for my use. I'm sure it would also work well in the product it is designed for. There is an overheat/therostat fuse built in that keeps it from overheating. I measured 1000 watts of energy at the plug when on. At around 300 CFM the heating elements get to over 400F. The air is heated to around 220F at the hottest point. Measurements taken with an energy meter and thermal camera. Enjoy.

Hardly used it maybe three or four times. And the fuse blew out.

The FBULWSEC S97016565 Heating Element is a perfect match for the OEM Broan NuTone S97020888. These units going bad is a common issue with Broan NuTone bath fan heaters and the OEM part is over 4 times the cost of this one. Replacing this element is much simpler than I thought. If you are unfamiliar with the process, check online for how to videos. I am legally blind and fix my heater with no hassles after watching one video.TIPS: Be sure to check your heater model number or part number with the listing to be sure this is the right element. Also, take the extra time to thoroughly clean your unit while you have it apart. The accumulation of dust is often the cause of heater element failure. So, I recommend cleaning the unit at least once per year. To do a thorough job, you must disassemble the unit, but as I said, it’s not that hard.
