This was sooooo easy to install. I can't believe I put up with the rear hatch falling on me for about a year. As another person posted/reviewed, you have to use the Sachs universal bracket. With my cordless drill this whole project took me 15 minutes. Easy peasy. I bought this for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't fit the original Jeep Cherokee bracket and I had to use their universal bracket.

At least it fits my Cherokee, but is a product of a little bad quality, it has those clips that held together the base and the lift, that is not quite good... but besides that is fairly a good product.
