This cable is made from thick, heavy gauge wire and carried the power from my 50-watt and 100-watt solar panels just fine with no loss of voltage or current. The easy quick connect SAE plugs pop on and off in a hurry when it's time to disconnect anything, but stay on firmly until then. The dust/weather protective caps on each end are handy, too, I like that they're built into the sides of the caps and not on a ring that can slide up and down on the wire like some others, I never have to look for them if they've moved, they just stay where they need to be all the time. I also like that the wires are a joined pair that's easy to manage as a single cable and not separated cords that tangle up when you want to put them away. Working great, easy to deploy and pack back up, made from rugged feeling materials... What more can I say? 5-stars!

The cable feels durable and well-constructed, with solid connectors that fit securely without any looseness. The wiring is thick and insulated properly, ensuring a stable and consistent power connection.I use it to extend the reach of my trolling motor to a pair of lithium-ion batteries in parallel. The length was perfect for my setup, and should I need it to be longer, I can use the included connector (there are 2), to double the length.Overall, this is a great value for a high-quality SAE extension cable that can be used for solar panels, RVs, or other 12V applications.

This is one high quality, heavy duty, 10-gauge extension cable for the RV, generator and/or solar battery room. It even comes with a handy little polarity reverser. (Be careful with that though!) You can feel the quality when you hold it in your hand and that quality and attention to detail are demonstrated by the fact that all the copper strands in the whole length of cable are tinned! The built-in dust caps are a very classy feature too- keeps the grit out when stored! Very happy with this cable and highly recommend it to anyone who needs one! I’m going to get some more of these in different lengths!

This seems like a well made extension. I hope that it is tinned copper as it says. The SAE connectors fits some others well and is sloppy in some. I have found that this is common with these SAE connectors. I sometimes have to open up the male pins a bit and try to compress the female receptacles a small amount in order to get a good connection.

XRDS -RF SAE Extension Cable 12FT–SAE to SAE Heavy Duty 10AWG Tinned Copper WireThis is the thickest and heaviest wire I own for SAE extensions. The ends are solid and fit with other SAE connectors as expected, but the manufacturing process did separate more of the two wires than I would have thought on the one end. I am using this with a 12v water pump to refill the camper fresh water tank when boon docking. While this is only 12 feet long, it is thicker 10 gauge wire. Worth it if it keeps from over heating when the pump runs for a while.

The SAE Extension Cable 15FT–SAE to SAE Heavy Duty 10AWG Tinned Copper Wire with SAE Battery Cable Terminal Connectors for Automotive, RV, Marine, and Solar Applications is a nice extension cable for multiple purposes. I have a lithium battery charger that uses SAE connectors and this is the perfect extension for that charger to reach batteries in various locations. The SAE connectors are universal and found in a wide variety of applications. I like that the plugs have caps to protect them them when not in use and the reverse adapter is a bonus. The 10 AWG tinned copper is greatly appreciated in an extension cable as it carries more current and is less likely to corrode in a marine environment. Definitely a quality extension cable.

This wire kit has excellent quality control. I couldn't find anything to criticize. The connector is a little tight, but that's exactly what you want, if you want a water tight connection. The wire feels like braided copper, so it's got plenty of flex, even though the insulation is a bit on the hard side. I wouldn't hesitate to run this under a trailer, exposed to the elements, without a conduit. It's that tough. Recommended!

I have an older model car that has a parasitic drain on the battery, and although I have installed a cut off switch, there are often times where I forget to enable it before I walk away from the car. This leaves me in the awkward position of attempting to jump my car from my wheelchair.I ended up using this cable to splice a connect to the and direct mounted one to the car battery so that I could apply the other side to my jump pack and allow me to jump the car without having to connect those super small alligator jaw clamps. The 10 gauge is probably overkill for this purpose as it's only a 4 cylinder car, but the setup works flawlessly and the cables are of amazing quality.
