Good wire. I cut the connectors off one end - I'll be swapping them for others. The wire is nicely tinned copper and specs at .11" which is a hair over 10 gauge. This looks like exterior PV wire in photos but it is not. The insulation is not as thick as my 10AWG Solar cables, and since it is not listed as exterior grade and the seller doesn't reveal what the insulation is made of I don't think it safe to assume it is exterior grade or rated UV resistant. The seller does mention solar panels, solar power harnessing, camping and a lot of other vagaries, but mentions nothing about the exterior capabilities of this wire or the insulation. I believe it to be the sellers obligation to inform the consumer about the product they are buying. Further more, I believe the basics of that information should be in the product banner. The consumer shouldn't have to wade through two pages of marketing and ten text laden photos before they know the product isn't for them.If I could decipher exactly what this product was I most likely would have given it a positive rating – but I can't – So:3 Stars

This review is for the JXMXRPV brand 10 gauge SEA extension cable.This is a nice cable. I was using it the other day and realized I hadn't reviewed it yet. It is just a 10 gauge extension cable with SAE connectors on each end. It has caps for both ends which are nice for keeping the connectors clean and a gender changer adapter. If you need something like this, you can't go wrong for choosing this one. Recommended.

If you need an SAE extension cable that carries good current, is highly flexible and has good connectors on it that you feel like you made a good purchase this is your huckleberry. Between camping other projects and many things I needed some SAE extension cables and I've had some that were stiff as boards and others that were low quality and so thin they felt like wet rope. Well this isn't that problem at all this is a good quality cable that you can use to Max Capacity that won't heat up or get all kinked up because it's highly flexible and this is the only SAE extension cable but I'm purchasing from now on.
