The only reason I’m giving this item a 3 star review is because of the headache I’ve had trying to receive them. I ordered 3 sets. Meaning I should have received 24 straps. When my package got delivered, it only had 6 straps, so not even a full set of 8. After a refund was issued, I reordered two more sets (12 straps). I only received one set (6 straps). Still waiting on my final replacement and hopefully that one has what I’m looking for.Overall, installation is easy. Make sure you follow directions on how to install, otherwise they would not be safe. The videos showing how ineffective these are are holding them at the wrong angle, therefore they are not safe. With proper installation you shouldn’t have a problem. I tested my dressers by opening up all drawers and really pulling on it, and the straps didn’t budge. I feel a lot safer for my child with these installed. I would also suggest installing two straps per piece of furniture, or more if it is a heavy/long piece.

Easy to install with clear instructions. I especially like that you can unhook the straps easily if you need to move the furniture for cleaning or whatever reason.

These have worked out great for us so far.Definitely you need a drill bit and you need to drill holes into your studs before you attempt to bolt these to the wall or furniture. One time I didn't drill the hole far enough into the stud beforehand, so the screw head got stripped out when I tried to screw in the regular screw.Otherwise they seem pretty great. They are plastic but seem sturdy enough when the straps are taught between the furniture and wall

I like that the straps come apart to move furniture. I don't like how easy the straps slip through the bucket, allowing the furniture to start tipping before it catches, resulting in anything on top still falling.

I ordered these wall straps after we had a very scary incident with our 2-year-old daughter. We found her in her room with her dresser tipped on top of her. She had pulled out all the drawers and the dresser fell on top of her. Thankfully she was okay, other than a little bump on her head. I started researching the issue and found these straps. This set came with enough straps to securely attach two dressers to the wall. My husband installed them quickly and we have been using them for several weeks now. The dresser seems very sturdily attached to the wall and we have not had any more tipping issues.

These wall straps seem to do their job well, as they securely attach furniture to the wall. They installed easily enough, and I didn't have any problem with how well they work.I have a problem with how they arrived and a seeming issue with quality control. This product arrives as 4 separate packages, each containing 2 straps. Every one of the 4 packages was open. Two of them were only partially opened, and the other 2 were completely opened. In addition, the screws were problematic. Not all of the screws matched, and 1 of them was totally unusable (the indentation where you would stick the screw driver head was filled in, so you couldn't use a screw driver with it). We had extra screws on hand, so we solved the problem, but we shouldn't have to find our own.

I see most people that have given this 1 or 2 stars complaining about the screws but why is no one mentioning the glaring problem of the adjustable straps? Each tether is technically 2 pieces. One attaches to the wall and the other attaches to the furniture than they hook together with a nylon strap and big metal hook. This set up i feel is great and sturdy. But then the nylon strap can be adjusted by pulling it tighter or looser through the furniture attached piece. Well after you pull it tight there is nothing to secure it at that tight position and it easily slides right back out to the loose position. There is no friction or tension or anything. So basically the piece of furniture could fall a pretty long way as the strap pulls out to its full loose position before stopping and when it does stop all the force of that stop will not be on the metal part or the two screwed in brackets, all the force will be on the tiny little sewed knob at the end of the nylon strap. Perhaps I got a defective set but I ordered 4 packages and this is a problem in all of them. I followed the directions in the package and when that didnt work I watched youtube videos, read reviews here and tried some different things just by myself but no matter what I did the adjustable strap doesnt stay tightly adjusted it always slips out to the loosest position. I will be returning these worthless things and find some other way to secure our furniture.

I instantly ordered these once I saw my 1 1/2 year old try climbing our 7 ft tall bookshelf. I have heard so many horror stories and disasters from people not anchoring their furniture to the wall. Please buy these anchors before it's too late. Kids look at everything like jungle gyms. These straps were easy to install on our dresser, book shelf, and tv stand. These straps are a great price and well worth it.

These work exactly as described. They were easy to install for someone who is NOT a handyman. I wish there was a better method for tightening the strap after they are installed; it's hard to get your hands back there behind the bookshelf/desk/whatever to pull on the strap. Other than that, these definitely did the trick. I can put my body weight (215 lbs) into trying to pull these off and they don't budge.
