When I got these boots for a teen holiday gift Dec. 2021, they were "just what she wanted". Worn often all winter and spring, they were great. Somewhere in there the soles split BADLY across the ball of the foot area, both boots. She likes how broken in they are now but they are pretty worthless as shoes with that kind of split. A pair of boots this price should last longer than 9 months, especially with not wearing them 3 months in summer. So much for greatness.
