Over the years I have tried various BT headsets. This is the best by far. The came already paired so it was true plug and play. The audio was load and clear. The audio reports say they could not tell the difference between the radio mic, a speaker mic, or this BT headset.What comes in the package are the part that plugs into the radio, two earpieces, the charge cable and replacement buds. At first I was confused because only one earpiece would connect at a time. After reading the product description, I realized they provided two ear pieces to give you longer operating time (4 hours times 2, 8 hours). The earpieces came with a left ear hook and right ear hook. The hook is easy to remove making it easy to change out earpieces.Once the radio component and earpiece is powered on, you adjust the volume via the radio. The PTT function works by press and hold to transmit, release to listen. The same as the PTT button on the radio. Other BT headset use a press once to start TX, press again to end TX. I prefer the way SAMCOM implemented the PTT.The earpieces are comfortable. I'm looking forward to using them on drives where I can monitor without bothering my passengers.

Work well with all brands of Bluetooth 2 way radios. Only two complaints the battery life on the earbuds. If they would make it thru a full 10 hr shift that'd be 5 start worthy and the proprietary charger!! Come on it's 2025 everything should be USB type C by now. I mean Apple made the swap why can't everyone else

I really like this product. I have been using those cheap corded earpieces that are include with a lot of HT's. Before coming across this system, I had been looking at regular Bluetooth adapters and audio jack reducers to try to cobble together something I could use with my standard Bluetooth earbuds. What I like about this product is that not only is it a functional Bluetooth headset for listening, but there is also transmit capability with the PTT buttons on both earpieces. The receiver/transmitter that plugs into the radio charges via USB-C, and the earpieces use a proprietary connection that is provided by the included cable. My dislike about the earpiece charging is that only one can be charged at a time. This is only a minor inconvenience, but it would be nice to charge both at once. The earpieces pair almost instantly to the transmitter and overall the sound quality is good. I did find this system to be pricey when compared to the alternative I was considering, but I would only have been able to listen. That being said I am pleased with this wireless headset.

Don’t know if I got defective unit. But kept going dead after just a couple hours. Also lots of interference in transmission. Tested it on different radios and compared it to a wired headset. Yes it’s the actual Bluetooth unit that was having the degraded signal.

Works with all my different radios and are perfect for use during contests or driving on the road. I have even used them on a bicycle and on my motorcycle, something I never done before. The sound quality is pretty good and the batteries life was better than I was expecting. Volume range is also very good and could easily be heard over road noise. Fully recharging the batteries takes about an hour. The pairing process was quick and easy.

The dual USB/Type-C charging cable is an indicator of the utility found in the SAMCOM BTEAR02B Wireless Radio Earpiece set. With a short charging session, you can enjoy hours of wireless radio operation while leaving the cables behind. The earbuds are small and comfortable to wear, and the adapter works well with my brand of handheld radio. The auto-pairing was quick, and the noise cancellation worked well. Highly recommended.

I really would like a Motorola version. I've got it rigged to an adapter, however, I'm sure direct connection would be better. Also, longer battery life on the ear piece would be beneficial as well. So far, so good.
