The container itself is sturdy but has two problems. The spigot is very narrow and even at full open, just allows a trickle of water through, also, the vent plug tends to get pulled back closed so you have hold it open while you are trying hold your dish or cup under the spigot with the other hand. I have now purchased the Reliance Products Aqua-Tainer 7 instead, it has a much better design.

The reason a got this water can, was to have a spigot that actually fitted the regular Scepter Jerry Water cans that i use a lot.And low and behold this spigot fits perfectly, does not leak and works as intended. I couldn't be happier. Even the price of this can is half way reasonable, compared to the vastly increased cost of the Jerry Cans that Scepter makes.

Leaks no matter what you do. I need one that ACTUALLY HOLDS WATER...so I will be returning it...I suggest looking elsewhere unless you just want to waste your money.
