Lots of copies out there. I've used most of them trying to save a few dollars. These work better and are easier to install. They come with a hex key to facilitate the install. Unlike the copies, these have the perfect diameter screws for direct replacement.

Too much trouble to return such a small item, but I'll never order anything made by schaller again. On one, and only one of the pins, my straplock wouldn't come off. Finally after about ten minutes I got it. Kind of like trying to fix a zipper that's off it's track. Thinking it might be the clamp part, I tried it with a different locking clamp. Same thing. So, I tried it with another one. Same. It's just plain defective. But too small and too much of a hassle to send back. I'll just eat it.

I have had other brands failed to the point where I had a very expensive guitar had a concrete patio in the middle of a gig. These are the only strap locks I use and trust.
