I ordered these thinking they were actual Schaller strap lock buttons and when they arrived I noticed they were branded as something else. I installed them on my new bass and tried to attach my strap that has genuine Schaller locks to it, and the locks would only fit onto one of the two buttons.I tried flipping the strap but the one button just won't fit into either locks. These buttons appear to be exactly the same size, but apparently they aren't.I had to go pick up another set of off-brand buttons to use and while they are obviously not Schaller, they actually fit my existing locks.Giving these 2 stars since at least one of them worked.

I bought these as I needed the older style that the screw was removable to change to a different screw with a different threading. When these came they were the new style with non removable screw. I was able to use on a different guitar but was upset I had to buy another set elsewhere.

It was pictured and described as a set of Schaller strap buttons, but what I was sent is the cheaper AllParts buttons - at the Schaller price. Not right at all.

Seems with the Schaller locks the buttons wear out, but it takes years. Great to just be able to replace the buttons and not have to buy the whole shebang. Been using Schaller locks on all my basses for 20+ years and they work great and last a long time.

Great pins, package was not clear (maybe cut down for shipping) if they really are Schallers. There is a Schaller sticker on the back, just putting that out there. Worked fine for me, and the seller is great.
