Been using this kit for over 7 years and nothing has broke/come loose.The elastic in the head mount or chest mount has held up good and have no integrity concerns of the plastics used. Suction cup is average, ide recommend you have a lanyard attached to whatever you use the suction cup for.*If seeking an all around mounting kit for a go-pro without the go-pro price, this is it.I used my mounts/chest/head rigs for motorcycle riding, snowboarding, offroading, outdoor activities 15-20x a year since I bought the kit.

Overall, and for the money, this outfit is pretty decent. Only complaint? There is a bracket/strap designed for a helmet. NOT the one that goes around the helmet. The other one...with dual straps which are supposed to go thru the openings on the helmet. First of all the bracket won't work on any of my helmets. That's an issue with the helmets rather than the bracket/fitting. All of my helmets have at least small ridges running the length of the helmet. So no way will the bracket work. Actually I don't have any helmets that would even allow a permanent mount with a sticky pad. But even if the top of the helmet had a flat area then the bracket would still not work as the straps and buckles are lame and worthless. Not really that big of a deal as the rest of the pieces and parts are totally usable. And there is another strap that can be used to mount the GoPro on to a helmet. That strap wraps around the helmet etc etc. Kinda massive but it will work. With that strap the camera ends up being closer to your forehead - you may have to remove a visor to get this one to work. The other strap (the one that has the useless buckles) would place the GoPro up on top of the helmet. That would probably give a nice view but might end up being kind of top heavy and unwieldy. Despite that minor nitpicking the whole package is definitely worth the price.

I purchased three (3) of these "Generic" brand kits for high-adventure Boy Scout activities (raft, canoe, rappel, bike, back pack, shotgun, and likely scuba soon).So far the only time I "lost" a camera, it was attached to GoPro brand mounts. It sprang off a Scout's chest when he was hauled from white water back onto his raft, face-first. I was lucky, a sharp-eyed Scout saw the camera and grabbed it.Lesson learned? Always secure your action camera with 1) a tether system! (see YouTube for various homemade strategies), 2) a "Floaty Backdoor" around water, and 3) the "locking plug" that comes with some GoPro models (that little white plastic thing that looks like a nose plug--you can buy aftermarket extras).For the many who ask: Yes, this kit works with GoPro 4 Black & Silver, GoPro Hero (the $130 grey one), the generous box of mount accessories that comes with the Dazzne P2, and even the $10 aftermarket GoPro compatible waterproof cases for the Xiaomi Yi (but NOT the Yi brand "Original").Oh, and when using the suction mount for the first time, make sure you remove the clear plastic protective film that covers the clear plastic suction cup :-)

This was one of the best purchases I have ever made! It appears that this bundle is actually original parts that GoPro uses and re-brands them with GoPro labeling and sells them individually for much more! The entire package is worth close to if not more than $100.00. This package is being sold for less than $25.00! A PERFECT STEAL! The chest and head harness are very good quality and those are what I was using to compare with GoPro branded versions going for $39.99. It comes with camera tethers which alone are $19.99 from GoPro! It also comes with what appears to be the very same "Grab Bag" from GoPro which is also $19.99! It comes with the Suction Cup which is $39.99 from GoPro! Also the Handlebar mount that is for $29.99 on from GoPro!Now with an Amazon Prime membership you get this entire package for $15.49!!!!!! That's insane!And for just $35.99 you get the same package including an extension rod that probably retails for $50.00 somewhere!Not that most of these mounts are advertised only for the GoPro cameras up to the HERO 3+ Black. I don't have a HERO 4 camera so I don't know if they would work with the HERO 4 or not.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

First, thanks for all the reviews of this, including the one about the defective screws. I will keep an eye out for defects and update this review if things start to break. As everyone here states in one way or an other, this value you get is unbelievable. The suction mount is not quite as sturdy as the original GoPro accessory, but its actually more adjustable, and it alone is worth the price of this set. Maybe this one would not last on the side of an airplane, but its much more convenient for sticking to my car windshield. The head-band is good quality, and the bike mount looks as good as the original which also costs more than this whole set. There are so many things in here that I have to find a new place to store all my GoPro parts. I can now feel comfortable loaning the camera to family members. The camera always seems to come back fine when I lend it out, but things like the chest harness or head-band seem to vanish. Now I have plenty of mounts and don't have to worry about using the last one to put a mount on someone else bike or ski helmet.
