My little one actually loves tops so these were a must have. she does like to set off several of these all at once in the kitchen which is a bit of chaos sometimes but she loves it. they do feel cheap but work very well and are pretty durable. they do spin for a long time as long as nothing gets in the way. they are fun to play with and even funnier to watch my little one go crazy and set a bunch off at the same time.

A few tops came broken, but it was okay since there were many included. This is easy to use and fun for all ages!

I love how these don't require any batteries. The force from the spinning is what powers them lighting up. It definitely makes my son a little confused early on when he goes to pick it up and the light stops, but he'll learn over time. He loves chasing it as it spins, and I even enjoy playing with it too. These are cool.

At first I thought.. boy, these sure do not work... but I had just put the attacher down on the sport ball and pushed the button and... nothing. What I found out later was that the attacher part has to pushed down, and wound like a clock a few times around and then.. bingo.. release it with a push of the button... and it spins and lights up. The kids had contests to see who could make their top spin the longest... Good fun when you know how to work them!! There are no directions at all on the box on how to put them together and make them operate.I'm glad we figured them out... it was then that I thought they were worth the price!!

My 3 year old loves these. I basically would be the one winding them up and launching them off while he would run after them. Tons of fun for both of us as hand he could spend his energy while I have a chance to sit. I know it sounds a bit lazy on my part, but sometimes you need a way to get your little one to spend their energy while preserving your own and this did that in a fun way for both of us. I have gotten to the point that I was able to teach him how to wind them up too.As a result of a 3 yr old learning how this works, a few of the tops were over-wound which pulled the internal spring loose in the launcher. They are easy enough to fix - you need to get a screw driver to pop the tabs off and reseat the spring. If you dont want to do this, you'll find the life of this item significantly shortended.We've used them so much now that the printed lines on the basketball and baseball tops started coming off, but this only impacts aesthetics and not function.All in all... we love them!
