How to Use it?
Gently grasp the tablet you wish to cut using your thumb and index finger.
Identify the portion of the tablet that needs to be divided. Pinch this specific area firmly.
After securely holding the tablet, release your fingers from it.
Position your hand beneath the scissors to catch the tablet once it's been cut.
Carefully apply gentle pressure while cutting, ensuring not to exert too much force to avoid crushing the tablet.

I wondered how I was going to handle this and when I opened to package I kind of laughed to myself. I used to be licensed vet tech and trimmed nails. I trim my own cats nails now. Except for weight, it's exactly the same as nail trimmers. Don't let that put you off. I just couldn't help seeing the resemblance. I've already tested and these are *heavy duty* cutters. Just placed the edge of the cutter where I wanted to cut it, applied a little pressure and it was done. It's that easy to use. Obviously, well made, heavy duty. I have small to extra small hands and they fit my hands just fine.

This thing works GREAT! I have a pill that I cut into fourths, and trying to jimmy it around in a standard blade-cutter, after that first half is ridiculous. With this thing, it cuts the ‘half’ in half, perfectly! The curvature of the blade lets you gently hold it in position while you center it just right. If you cut pills, GET THIS. :-)

They work, but I've bought better ones for the same price. The better ones have a larger handles and it's plastic coated. Easier to manipulate. The rubber doo-dads that are on this one's handle falls right off. Nonsense design, but still functional.

I had a really hard time finding a pill cutter for my horse pill vitamin and even this one didn't have pictures of really large vitamins but it sounded promising. It does fit giant vitamins! My fiance has to cut my vitamins in 4s for me every day and it cut my pill easily with almost no fall out from the pill.

Bought these to split 16mm wide, 5mm thick, round caffeine mints. They work. They don't make a perfectly straight cut, but neither do my other pill splitting scissors, which have a shorter blade. These have a 26mm long blade, so if your pill is shorter than 26mm, I would think they will work. I was using a knife to split the mints, and this is much easier.
