LID WILL POP UP EVEN IF IT'S LOCKED. IF YOU KEEP THIS UN YOUR TRUCK FOR WORK, YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES TRYING TO KEEP THE LID CLOSED. AT THE MINIMUM SHAKE, I'LL POP BACK OPEN

It works now. The latch didn't work. I had to readjust and eventually bend the inner latch plate to line up with the latching mechanism. There were also small dents and dings on the corners. It seems cheap, but it was cheap. Can't complain too much. Expect to get what you pay for.

The latch is not lined up with the hook and even when it's locked, it pops open when you hit a bump. You cannot adjust it.

Well let me first say you get what you pay for it will only keep honest people out but not anyone else who want your stuff lock is made very cheap. But it's better than a cart board box but not much.

Other reviews pretty accurate.Lid corners bent in shipping but the steel is so thin that I was able to resend it with my thumbs.NO WEATHER SHIELD.Latch lock completely useless. A simple bump opens the lid.That being said, I doubt any others on Amazon under $500 are any better.I am adding locking hasps for $10 and a seal and it will do the job for things I am not too worried about being stolen.
