I think this scratch art set is better suited for adults than children. I'm not sure if an actual human actually completed the scratch off before it was sent to production. The sections where you are supposed to scratch are pretty fiddly and small in places. It does seem like there was thought put into what colors to put underneath the different sections.It's really nice that they included the color images on the back of the package which you can pop out and use as a hanging tag or a bookmark if you like.They did include a number of scratching tools as well. I mainly stuck with the double-ended stylus, but they also included a wooden orange stick and another scraper. They also include a brush for brushing off the black excess. This was really messy so I recommend putting it on top of something before you start scratching, probably something with sides because I was doing it just on top of cardboard and I made a mess.It was pretty challenging to scratch around the very little sections and I ultimately didn't really feel like what I ended up with was very pretty to continue to look at, but if you have someone in your life who likes to scratch or pick, this might be a good activity for them.

First these will make a bit of a mess with the shavings that your scratching produces. Also, they are large canvases so takes me about a movie or two depending on how fast I work to get them done. They are stunning images but if you are overly fixated on having each line match and frustrated when you make mistakes (as there is no going back to adjust) then might want to start with a smaller project before jumping into these. Mine at times are a mess but also these are a great way to do some tactile grounding when one is all up in their feelings and emotions a good self care. I love the brush that is included with the other helpful and better than generic accessories as someone who has done many smaller less involved projects looking forward to embracing more of these larger pieces with more gusto.

Great product. Arrived quickly with everything that’s need to do the art projects. The will keep many entrained for hours of fun and is great for all ages. I would recommend this product for kids as well as adults
