It's a good flashlight, nice and sturdy with good brightness and range. Compact, great addition to the console of my car because you never know when you might need to change a tire in the dark or something. My only downcheck is that the only way to charge the battery is to remove it and put it on the included charger, rather than just having a USB charging port built into the flashlight. Other than that, good light.

This flashlight is super bright and easy to use. It is sealed up, if you take it apart it has a couple gaskets to keep water out. The battery does have to be taken out to charge in a separate charger, but I would guess that's because if you put a usb port on the flashlight you have a greater risk of water getting it.

I got this flashlight because I have livestock and they always wait until it is dark and cold, rainy, snowy, or thundering to rampage around outside their pens. I lost a couple good flashlights that way.I figured if this flashlight can handle dunking in the ocean it can handle a Midwestern thunderstorm. I accidentally dropped it on the concrete when I took it out of the box and it still worked.I did charge this first and turns out the battery has to be removed from the light to be charged. While it charged, I found a little tube of heavy duty grease and several extra gasket rings along with a carabiner on a short string and a longer black cord with a rubber handle. Both of then can be used to loop through the end of the light and fasten it to yourself.I liked the black cord the best because I was able to hang it around my neck when I wasn't using it. Makes it easy to keep track of it since it is pretty small and fits in my hand.I was shocked how bright this light is. You could go shining deer with this sucker. It is brighter than a 4 cell Maglite but much lighter. The on button has a rubber ring around it that lights up when it is turned on.Green means it is charged, and when it turns to red its time to recharge it. That is really handy to know so it doesn't suddenly die on me when I'm knee deep in a mud bog chasing demented goats. I can't wait for a rain storm so I can try out the waterproof part.

I have always liked flashlights. My wife thinks I have too many. I saw this diving flashlight and asked Amazon to review it.This is a small flashlight, which is only 5 inches in length and at its widest point is 1 ½ inches. It is waterproof with 3 seals (it comes with extra seals) to guarantee there is no leakage. It also comes with sealant (grease). In order to protect the integrity of the waterproof system there are no external charging ports. In order to recharge the battery you must remove it and place it in a separate charger that comes with the flashlight. The build of the flashlight is very solid. It has a battery indication system of 3 different lights. At full charge it is green. When testing the flashlight the green indicator stayed on for just over an hour and a half.It is not my intention to use this flashlight in the ocean. I don’t scuba dive. I have used it walking on dark streets. It casts out a large beam, which lights a large area of good light out to approximately 60 yards. It is advertised as putting out 1000 Lumens. I always question these numbers because they seem to be higher than they actually are. Not so with this light. It is brighter than a number of my flashlights that say 1000+ Lumens. I am very pleased with how much light it gives off. If I was hiking on a trial at night I would have no problems.I have a few small negatives about the flashlight. First, you have to channel through all the settings if you want to turn it off. Second, it gets a little hot, especially during the first 15 minutes on a full charge. As you use the battery it starts to cool off a little. This is not a big thing and in cold weather you could use it as a hand warmer. Third, I don’t like the separate charger. I understand why they had to do it, but it is one more charger I have to keep track of.I tested the battery on the high beam, and it lasted just under 3 hours. As with most flashlights, toward the end of the charge it got dimmer. It took a while to recharge it.Overall I really like this flashlight for walking at night where there are no lights. It really lights up the area around you. Hiking on a trial at night this is really reassuring: casting a large beam over a fairly long distance.

Almost too bright actually. I'll be up front, I did not buy this with scuba diving in mind. Our family recently adopted a puppy and I'm spending a lot of nights in the dark waiting for her to do her business so I can kennel her up for the night and go to bed. So what drew me into this flashlight was that it was likely going to be waterproof should I run into any rain. And yup, that box is checked for sure.So keep in mind what I use it for, as there are pros and cons for this style of use and the intended use. I like how compact it is and how light it is. Very easy to handle and grip. I don't like how long the handle strap is. It is quite long, tripling the length from base of the flashlight to the handle. Obviously good for scuba diving, not so much for dog watching. The beam is rather bright and the focused area is like a spotlight. But in turn, it reveals all the bugs at night, which are perfect distractions for a puppy. So I have to use the low beam option and angle the center spotlight away from dog so that she only gets the perimeter lighting. Still pretty effective.I've used it for a while now, but only in 10 minute bursts. So for my use, plenty of battery life. I do like that it has a power indicator to let you know when you need to charge. My only complaint is not being able to focus the beam into a small area. Some flashlights offer a slide function to do just that, but it could be a waterproofing issue. This one only cycles through a high beam, low beam, and a SOS option.Little pricey for a conventional flashlight, but probably on par for a Scuba version.
