Does not fit Irwin Forstner drills item #1966893.That's what I bought it for!This is not for drill bits, it's for driver bits.Description is misleading!

These things work great. I have 2 of them now and use one for a wire brush to clean diesel injector bores and the other has a roloc adapter on it. Both are used with my drill. The Irwin extension work way better than cheaper version because the set screws don’t tend to strip and the bit retention is very good compared to others

I ended up converting this extension into a adapter of sorts so I can use impact bits on a standard, regular drill. It works like a charm.

Disappointed ... It's an Irwin, so I expected more but, the bit extension snapped during the first use using a cordless drill/driver. Presently working with the third-party supplier on a replacement; it's been almost a month now, and had to escalate to Amazon to get the supplier to respond.
