Not exactly sure what other reviewers were having trouble with, but this lock worked perfectly for me. I need two more just like it. I set my code and was able to lock as well as unlock with no problems. There wasn’t any real “installation” involved, you just slip it over your faucet handle, slip the lock in that has been programmed with your code and that’s it! Once it’s in place you can’t turn the handle on or off and the cover doesn’t come off without putting in the combination. This is perfect for keeping the kids in my neighborhood from turning my faucet on and then forgetting to close it completely.

I order hoping that I will be able to keep outside people from using my water. As soon as I locked it in place, I was able to pull out the black outer piece & unfortunately I cannot return it because I noticed after the window closed
