The pot caught fire and melted to the propane camp stove. The ensuing chemical fire was very difficult to put out. This product is unsafe.

I have tried out a lot of their products already, and I love about everything I have tried. This collapsible pot is different.It is very well-made, and designed to take up as little space as possible, So it is portable. It is very easy to use, Store, and clean. And there are a lot more pieces available on the market. You can get an entire set of matching outdoor cookware. All works great, and heats pretty evenly. It is very lightweight, and has many uses. Great for cooking, or purifying water. actually is a great product for the price. Highly recommended.

This is my first foray into the world of collapsible camping pots. Typically I always had a solid pot with other cookware nested in that large pot. So I figured I would give this a try as I am looking to lessen the amount of space take up by camping supplies. I have to say I am actually really impressed. I didn't really go crazy as far as what I cooked in it but what I did make this handled it without any problems. To pasta and ramen to warming up cans of stew this worked without any issue. The heat distribution was good I was worried about the silicone sides that collapse warping or being affected when cooking but that held up perfectly. The lid did a fairly good job of straining excess water from the pot but it was by no means perfect. the lid rest is kind of a joke as I don't think I will ever use that feature I will just set the lid off to the side instead of risking spilling the contents or burning myself. the pot collapses down and the handle removes and latches over the top securing the lid in place when packed away. Over all it has worked well in the few times I have used it and I wonder how it will perform over time. As of now if you want a good pot that collapses to a very nice size then look no further. I think its great so far and I can easily recommend it.

The basic conceit of this cookware is the side made of silicone which allows the pot to collapse down to under half-height. The silicone is quality, food grade and capable of withstanding boiling temperatures, though not made to be exposed directly to flames. For direct exposure to flames this pot comes with a hard anodized aluminum base--along with anodized aluminum rim and lid.Unlike Sea to Summit's fully aluminum cookware, this collapsible pot does not have a non-stick coating in its base, thus the name "Pouring Pot" indicating that it's made for boiling, not frying food.It is possible to nest this pot inside larger Sea to Summit Frontier cookware, and some Sea to Summit dishes and utensils also fit in this pot when collapsed.I got this cookware free from Amazon's Vine program in return for a review and I'm loath to look such an excellent gift horse in the mouth. Nevertheless, as a longtime camper in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, I'd probably be remiss not to add my thoughts about usage of this pot--and other collapsible pots in the Frontier line....Despite the innovative design of these collapsible pots, I'm a bigger fan of Sea to Summit's fully anodized aluminum cookware which also nests but comes with non-stick ceramic coating. If you're going solo and using freeze dried food, this thing is perfect. For larger parties and frying food, you may not want these silicone-sided pots. At some point the nesting of larger pots becomes almost as effiicient as having to take a number of varying-sized collapsible pots. These pots are certainly cool, but for larger groups and non ultra-lightweight camping, I'd go with Sea to Summit's rigid aluminum cookware.Nevertheless, these pots come with a solid lifetime warranty. If your needs can be met with this kind of pot, you'll love the pot itself.

I love this pot. I love it so many reasons.First, I love a lifetime warranty. It's the best bang for my buck that I can get. I have file folders full of documents from things I have purchased that have lifetime warranties. And hopefully, if this company has good customer service, it will be worth the purchase just for this reason.But it's also very pretty. And the collapsible feature makes it easy to travel with. It is sturdy and the quality is good. I like the way the handle detaches and then nests into the top of the pot for storage. I like that fact that you can pour off water very easily if you are boiling something. It is lightweight (11 ounces) and is something that I can use over and over again. Easy to clean, too.Get one now. Even if you don't camp. Think about other ways to use this beauty. Lots of possibilities. Even in a dorm room or a hotel. Have pot will travel.
