The fits of this all depends on the size of the hole you cut and the space you’re working with. I needed a right angle fit for a tight area in my boat. This fit perfectly. Easy to install.

Tightened by hand then began with wrench and snap. Went with stainless steel and threw this into the trash. Imagine this broke while out in the ocean.

This is a stout fitting and with the appropriate sealant should function perfectly. This is labeled a 1-1/8” fitting and fits my 1-1/8 ID hose perfectly. My only complaint is the stainless piece arrived unprotected and has tiny scratches on it. Certainly won’t affect its function, but I would have preferred a flawless beauty ring.
