oring started leaking after only a short time for some reason it expands slightly and does not fit in groove anylonger after a short time.

We needed something to create a waterproof port hole in the side of our van. This product worked great. It's pretty heavy duty plastic, and the 1/8 turn needed to seal the hatch makes it quicker and easier than a screw on. It doesn't seal perfectly, but it was only a small water build up during a heavy rainstorm, so nothing too bad. Would recommend.
