The cracker is soft, most likely made of zinc. Other crackers in Amazon claimed to be stainless steel that I ordered and returned are either aluminum, magnesium, or zinc. Nobody is telling the truth anymore, so I'll just keep this one.

If you eat seafood at home, particularly crab legs you need these! Get every last bit of that delicious crab meat out with these tools!The crackers are a little cheap feeling, but they get the job done and I have no doubt they will last for a few years.Great set at a great price! Can't beat that!

These tools were perfect for lobsters and crab meats.. I wish I had them the last time when I had crab legs Because the meat was very hard to get out. I keep mine in the box this way everything is all together When I need it. I especially like the little fork ends Because they really grab on to the meat nicely so it can be pulled out without falling apart.

We like to make an occasional crab boil with crab, shrimp, and sometimes lobster. Included in the set is a cracker that works well for the claws of both crab and lobster, and the sheller tools work well for splitting the softer crab legs, and can even help with removing the shells from shrimp. There are also forks and picks included to pick the meat from the shells and dunk it in some butter and enjoy! Will be getting a few more sets so we don't have to keep passing around the tools. Very reasonable price too!

This set looks like the listing and quality is decent. I think the value for the entire set is pretty good. The pieces are sharp and sturdy. The cracker is a little loose, but it might be intentionally designed that way. Overall, I'm pleased and would recommend this.

This is a nice set of the tools you need to eat your shellfish. Everything is included in one nice package for you. You get a shell cracker, which can also be used to crack nuts as well, you get 2 shellers to be used to "unzip" the lobster or crab legs to get access to the meat inside, and you get 2 different sized crab leg forks to help you get in and remove the meat.These tools will make your enjoyment of lobster and crabs even greater.
