Very low quality plastic and tooling compared to the southco that I'm replacing. If you don't need a quality latch this will work. 1/2 inch thick door was too thick for this to mount with the included screws.

My boats floor hatch has been without this for awhile now. When I finally took the time to replace it I was surprised at how easy it was to install and now that the hatch stays shut the items in it stay dry 😁

Perfect replacement for Southco latches that cost twice as much online or $45(!!!!) At West Marine! Installs in 30 seconds. Perfectly repaired my broken latch on Sea-Doo Islandia. Thx to the other user that mentioned they used this latch for the same application.

Perfect match for my sugar sand tango but very weak build. The handle could break easily if not handled carefully. My ski locker is very dence and heavy. Would be fine on a lighter weight hatch, lid etc. So I shouldn't be too harsh on the product I suppose.
