So I got this cultivator (not really a tiller) yesterday. Very excited to try it out. Today while my husband was using the big tiller, I put together this cultivator together. It took some head scratching because the instructions are very limited. First suggestion put the black shield on first. The directions dont even show putting that on. Second suggestion about the tines. You can figure out which tines go where but securing them is not intuitive. The inner tines use the bolts and a cotter pin. The outer tines use the linch pin to secure them. It does come with extra parts so that is good. Batteries came charged so I put it to work!So this is NOT a tiller. I tried to use it on an untilled part of the garden and it is slow going and barely made a dint in the ground. So where my husband tills it often has area between the tines that do not get tilled well. So I used this cultivator to get those missed places. Boy was I impressed! I only used the lowest and middle speeds, mostly the middle. This thing really works! Only issue I had was rocks getting wedged between the tines. My issues not the machines. Easy enough to remove them. So I used this on an 8 x 20 roughly garden spot. I worked the area well and it only used one bar on the battery. I was shocked really. This is going to be great in my flower beds too! In comparison this is lighter than any real tiller I have used. This will help keep the weeds down everywhere!!!! One of the best things I have gotten! I will update if I have any issues. I love love love this!

The instructions are poor at best. The tines only go a certain way to get the holes to line up. The instructions don't clearly indicate which tines get the cotter pin and which don't either. However, one you get it figured out there are some good features as well. The batteries last a long time. Longer than I did. And it comes with two which is really nice. The tines won't break up compacted clay but for loose soil in a garden bed this makes getting rid of weeds a champ. It is more of a cultivator than a tiller.

This looks like it will be a good tiller if I can ever get it assembled. Two batteries and a charger are included, so it should have a long run-time using both.Unfortunately, the holes for attaching the tines are not drilled correctly making it impossible to complete assembly See photo. I reached out to the customer service e-mail address outlining the problem and received a reply in Chinese. I requested a reply in English and got what looked like the same reply in Chinese.Once I get the unit assembled, I will complete this review. After getting the holes on the two outer tines drilled out so the lynch-pins could be inserted and locked, I finished assembling the tiller. It is a good little tiller. It has just enough weight to get down into packed soil without pushing. It works best pulling towards the operator in short strokes, but it does do a good job of loosening up the soil. It also is good at tilling sod under, although I would not want to use it for large areas.I'm going to break my ratings down into 4 sections:Workmanship/ease of assembly--1 starCustomer Service--0 starsEase of use and quality of work performed--4.5 starsOverall rating--3 starsHope this review helps future purchasers and will improve customer service from the manufacturer.

This "tiller" works much better than I expected. The batteries were mostly charged, so I put it to work right away. I've only used it on the slowest speed, since my ground is pretty firm, and it did a wonderful job. Roots will stop it, and small roots will get wound around the tines, but that is not a fault of this machine. The battery run life was several times longer than I expected. The battery has 4 "bars", for the battery strength. It went from 4 to 3 pretty quickly, but it stayed on 3 until it was dead. I never saw it at 1 or 2 "bars".Complaints:One of the holes drilled on the tines were very jagged, and it could easily cut someone not paying attention. This only 1 hole that was a problem, so I'm assuming this isn't a common problem. This is also trivial to fix.The hole in one of the tines, only work in one orientation. I tried to put the pin in, to secure the tines, but it wouldn't go all the way through. I rotated the shaft 180 degrees, and it worked fine. The manual isn't clear, and the pictures are too dark to see well, however I expect most people could assemble this without the manual, since there is only one way it can go together. The holes in the drive shaft, to mount the tines, are different sizes, so just line up the same sized holes, and put in the pin that matches that size, and you're good to go. I was happy to see they included extra pins.I probably wouldn't have ordered this, if it was a brand I didn't recognize, but I know SeeSii because they make some ham radio related equipment, that gets decent ratings, so I decided to give this tiller a shot, and I'm glad I did. If I could, I'd give this 4 1/2 stars, but I'm so impressed with it, that I'll round up to 5.

Would love to give this a better revue it works like a dream, but the tines that do the tilling where not drilled square I had to redrill all of them to get them to go on the inside ones have a slightly bigger hole for the larger pin then the outside ones so you can get them backwards and the holes only line up one way so you can't put them upside down but the pins would only go in half way would not go out the other side like a 2 mm of set. For myself it was not a problem but not everyone is going to have the tools needed to fix this.
